About Me
I’m Alan, a fully qualified maths teacher with years of experience successfully tutoring students in maths.
I help students develop their skills and knowledge, growing confidence that helps improve grades. I have proven success in helping students gain their required grade at both foundation and higher levels.
I graduated with a 2:1 (Hons) in Mathematics from Exeter University in 2006, then obtained a PGCE in 2010. I taught Maths at a Cornish secondary, where I was twice individually graded outstanding by Ofsted and was promoted to Deputy Head of Maths.
I hugely enjoy inspiring students, helping them to reach and exceed their goals. At Prime Position, I’m here to help students to reach their full potential through the advantages of one-on-one support.

Teaching at my Truro home or at your house within the Truro area. Online learning option available.

First hour £20, then:
£45/hr for KS3 & KS4
£50/hr for KS5

Additional travel costs are applicable for distances beyond 5 miles from Truro centre
